As a patron, it gives family vibes & a great time, not ghetto. They also have a backyard as well as hookah ... they start open mic nights 1/11/23, so i am super excited as an ARTIST

Service and food was great! We came here on a wim going through Newark and was pleasingly surprised! The smothered turkey wings were tender and tasty, the yams was amazing and the greens was good! The mac n cheese was okay. But that entree of smothered turney wings was AMAZING! Yams and collard greens for your sides and you will not go wrong!! I will be back when in the area.

Service was great, server was kind. The environment was very clean and well managed ! Food was good for the most part I will say very fresh, as a true southern girl though I do feel it was missing some flavor although the idea was there. Additionally food came out very speedy. Overall I would go and eat there again if I was craving food from home.

This place is a definite soul food dinner place. The food is delicious, the service is prompt and pleasant, the long island ice tea is everything, the music will have you singing and dancing and the atmosphere is calming. I recommend taking a date or just hanging out with the girls or guys. You will not be disappointed. Ps... There is an outdoor section for smokers....

First time here and I was not dissatisfied . Food was very good and portions were sizable . I got takeout and the wait was not too long . I will be back .

Our store at Washington Auto Parts is very close to Southern Komfort Bar & Grill so we discovered them quickly. We don't have much time to order food as we are very busy & always on the fly. So it's very convenient being able to order and pickup food from these guys. The owner is a great guy.

I was so happy to be invited to give this southern charm, restaurant a try. When I arrived I was able to find parking on the street nearby. I walked in and went to the back and gave my name. The nice young lady said I could sit anywhere. I sat at the bar, and Mo was my bartender, and she was great. I started with a mocktail and it was delicious! I then got served a bunch of items from Miss B, one of the owners/cook, and she was sooo generous! I had the fried shrimp, catfish, and salmon bites, seafood mac & cheese, soko and dolce wings, and the turkey chop entrée. My absolute favorite was the soko wings and the seafood mac & cheese! The flavors were perfect. It was an absolute great vibe, and I truly enjoyed. I want to thank them for everything!
